मूलम्

यावदेतान्निरीक्षेऽहं योद्धुकामानवस्थितान् |
कैर्मया सह योद्धव्यमस्मिन् रणसमुद्यमे || १-२२ ||

Meaning

शब्दार्थाः (Word for word)

यावत् -- till the time, while; एतान् -- these; निरीक्षे -- observe; अहम् -- I; योद्धुकामान् -- desirous of battle; अवस्थितान् -- standing; कैः -- with whom; मया -- by me; सह -- along; योद्धव्यम् -- to be battled; अस्मिन् -- in this; रणसमुद्यमे -- in the endeavor of the form of a war;

अन्वयः (Word order)

एतान् अवस्थितान् योद्धुकामान् यावत् अहं निरीक्षे; अस्मिन् रणसमुद्यमे मया कैः सह योद्धव्यम् ।

अनुवादः (Translation)

(Arjuna continues) "...while I examine these who are standing here, desirous of battle, with whom the battle should be fought by me in this war-endeavor."
