Paranai is then to be carried out during the dwadashi time available. I remember reading that madhyahnikam is done with an oil lamp standing for the sun. I also remember some suggestion that Paranai is done with PERUMAL TIRUVARADHANA THEERTHAM and food with Dwadashi thaligai taken leisurely at usual meal time. I noramlly follow thhe later.
