Dear Devotees,

(This is a request for Bangalore Based Bhaktas to attend the Grand Inaugural Function in Sri Venugopala Krishnaswamy Temple,Malleswaram)

As you all may be aware,adiyen spent his entire child-hood in service of Krishnar in Malleswaram Krishnar Koil. Krishnar Koil is one of the oldest Sri Vaishnava Temples in Bangalore Area. Probably the 3rd oldest after Kotai Srinivasar Koil and Thulasi Thotham.

The Pravachana Mandiram which was built at the cost of Rs.24 Lakhs ( Apprx US $ 52,000 ) will be inaugurated on the 3rd and 4th of Feburary. 

THIS IS A REQUEST FROM THE HEART OF A WORTHLESS DEVOTEE FOR ALL BHAKTAS IN BANGALORE READING THIS MESSAGE TO ATTEND THE FUNCTION

In the years of 1890s, Sri Vaishnavas living around Malleswaram Area headed by Vaikuntavaasi Sri U.Ve.Singaraiyengar established a temple for Nambi Naarayanar. At that time the moolavar was Nambi Naarayanar and the utsavar was Naarayanar along with his ubhaya naachiyars.

One night Sri U.Ve.Singaraiyengar had a dream, Sri Venugopala ordered him thus "No bhaagavataa is performing aaradhana for me, please give me a place in the koil of Nambi Naarayanar and perform aaradhanam for me!!!"

Sri Venugopalan was recovered by the wodeyars of Mysore and was in the collection of Sri Nalmadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar.Sri Venugopalan is actually from a Divya Desam close to Cudalore (Adiyen is not able to recollect the exact name)

Thus, Sri Venugopalan was establish as the moolavar of the temple, replacing Nambi Naarayanar. The uniqueness of the temple is that Sri Venugopalan is the moolavar and the utsavar is Naarayanan. The is a seperate Sannidhi for Nambi Naarayanar.

Sri Rukmini Thayar was also consecrated. There is a seperate sannidhi for Andaal. Sri Ramanujar, Pillai Lokacharyar, Manavaala Maamunigal,Sri Vendanta Desikar are also present. The Alwars include the Mudhal Alwars (Pey,Poygai and Bhutad), Nammalwar,Kulashekaran,Thirumangai, Thirumazhisai,Nathamunigal, Aalavandar(Yamunacharyar) and also Vishwaksenar.

Sri Kondandaramar along with thaayar Sitay and Lakhmanar, Sri Hanumar, Sri Garudar and Chakratalwar Sannidhi. The chakratalwar sannidhi was established about a few year back in the auspicious presence of HH Sri Sri Rangapriya Maha Desikan.
