srimathe ramanujaya namah

dear bhagavathas,

i have uploaded photos of ramanuja during a portion of his
birth anniversary celebration.. These photos were taken after
the thirumanjanam (ritual bathing) in the later afternoon.
This takes place outside the temple at his birthplace, and
after this, he goes inside the temple for alankaram (adornment
of jewels etc..)..

This is the one time where one can see and enjoy the infinte
beauty of ramanuja's idol in sriperumbudur...

these photos can be found on the yahoogroups bhakti-list page,
the link "photos" on the left side, and the sub-folder
called ramanuja.
