The Vedarthasangraha (/vedÄrthasangraha/) is an independent work by Sri Ramanuja that presents a comprehensive framework for understanding of the Vedas. He discusses the nature of Supreme Reality (tattva), paying particular focus on the proper meaning of the teaching “tat tvam asi” (That you are). The ensuing discussion also contains a discussion of the spiritual path (hita) as well as the nature of the final state of liberation (purushÄrtha).
The Vedarthasangraha was Sri Ramanuja’s first work and was offered at the feet of Lord Srinivasa at Tirupati.
