Clarification on MaNavaaLa maamuni?

Dearest Sisters and Brothers,

A couple of days back, when I was talking to my father over phone, I was 
telling him that we are going to celebrate our Swami Desikan 
Thirunkashthram (Oct 1) and Sri Manavaala MamunigalL (Oct 26) together 
at Singapore NAMA gathering. 

Immediately, he said " Do you know? ManavaaLa maamuni was the cousin of 
H.H AdhivaN SadagOpa Jeer (The First jeer of Ahobila Mutt which was 
established by him) and it was ManavaaLa maamuni who gave kaashaayam to 
the Jeer. Due to lack of time, I did not probe further.

But when I read the biographies of both of them, (whatever I could 
access), I did not see any reference to this relation (which is 
surprising that too pleasant! ). Except that MaNavaaLa maamuni was born 
in 1370 AD while Sri AdhivaN SadagOpa Jeer was born in 1398.

Nor did I doubt my father's statement. he must have heard from someone 
or read it at Srirangam. I am any way going to ask him. But does any 
member have any info on this?

Please clarify.
