Dear Devotees,

I just came from India.  In spite of so many religious places and
enlightened acharyas, Indians at large are steeped in corruption renaming
India, as "Adharma-bhumi".  THis stands out significantly in every walk of
a  commoner's life in India.  Having said this, among all professions,
politics seem to be the center stage for most corrupt activities in which
people invest little time and gift of the gab to achieve tonnes of money
and power. 

 Having said this, it is interesting to note that our previous president
Shankar Dayal Sharma, being in a difficult occupation, has taken a
different route in his life.  He and his wife have taken "samasrayanam" and
"prapatti" under srimad Andavan (srimushnam). I do not think that he is
srivaishnava by birth.  He, it seems speaks fluent sanskrit.  I even saw
some of his photographs with Andavan and Azhagiasingar.  It is quite
remarkable that such a politician who could end up in so many different
merry-making hobbies after being president has changed the course of his
life to not to get into this life-death-rebirth-cycle altogether!

I just felt that I should share this info though I did feel that it is a
private matter for president Shankar Dayal Sharma.  Please keep this info
in this closed group and among well wishers.
