A Question for Sri Vidyasankar

Srivaishnavas agree that there are many passages in the Vedas which state that Siva alone is the supreme Brahman etc. But what do Sankaracharyas and other advaitins say about the position that words like Siva Ganesa etc can also mean Narayana, being common nouns, but Narayana cannot mean Siva etc being a proper noun and referring only to Vishnu? Jaganath.
