Dear sri vaishNava perunthagaiyeer,

In this second post on Sri vishNu sahasra naamam groupings, we will see the
list of naamaas containing the common thread of reference to a numerical
number. 

The numbers involved are 
	Zero - soonyam, 
	One - Ekam, 
	not one - na Ekam, 
	three - thri, 
	four - chathu, 
	seven - saptha, 
	thirty three - thri dhasa, 
	one hundred-  satha, 
	one thousand - sahasra  and
	infinite - asankhyEya. 

Each naamaa is a beauty and to be relished. For detailed meaning please see

1.	Om soonyaaya nama:  -- naamaa no. 749  occurring in slokam 79 
	- meaning: lord who is without attributes - devoid of defects

2.	Om Ekaaya nama:  or Om Ekasmai nama: -- naamaa no. 730  occurring in
slokam 78 
	- meaning: the lord with out a superior or an equal - one without a
second

3.	Om Eka padhe nama:  -- naamaa no.778  occurring in slokam 82
	- meaning: the one footed - he whose incarnation is just a part of
his totality.
	 
4.	Om Eka aathmanE nama:  -- naamaa no. 965  occurring in slokam 103
	- meaning: sriman naaraayaNa is the only one supreme being, over
soul who expresses himself as individualities.

5.	Om na Eka roopaaya nama:  -- naamaa no. 272  occurring in slokam 29
	meaning: he of multi various forms, of infinite forms.

6.	Om na Eka maayaaya nama:  -- naamaa no. 303 occurring in slokam  33
	meaning: he of multi various wonders, of endless forms and
variegated.

7.	Om na Eka aathmanE nama:  -- naamaa no. 469 occurring in slokam 50 
	meaning: he with diverse forms at the same time, many souled,
expressing himself as many.

8.	Om na Eka karma kruthaaya nama:  -- naamaa no. 470 occurring in
slokam 50
	meaning: he who performs diverse acts, where he is not no action
takes place.

9.	Om na Ekaaya nama:  -- naamaa no. 731 occurring in slokam 78
	- meaning: the many- who is not only one but many
	 
10.	Om na Eka srungaaya nama:  -- naamaa no. 769  occurring in slokam 81
	meaning: one who has many horns, he whose strategy  was manifold

11.	Om na Eka dhaaya nama: [for sri bhattar] or Om na Eka jaaya nama
[for sri sankara] -- naamaa no. 891 occurring in slokam  95
	meaning: the giver of not one but many [ as per sri bhattar]. Not
once born- born many times in many forms [as per sri sankara]

12.	Om thri kagubDhaamnE nama:  -- naamaa no. 62  occurring in slokam  7
	meaning: having the three fold universe as his abode, the very
support or foundation of three quarters.

13.	Om thri vikramaaya nama:  -- naamaa no. 533  occurring in slokam 56
	meaning: he who traverses or pervades all the three vedaas, one who
has taken 3 steps as vaamanaa.

14.	Om thri padhaaya nama:  -- naamaa no. 538 occurring in slokam  57
	meaning: the proponent of the three thathvaas - [BhOkthaa, BhOgya,
niyanthaa are the 3 thathvaas], one who has taken three steps as vaamanaa.

15.	Om thri saamnE nama:  -- naamaa no.581 occurring in slokam  62
	meaning: propounded by the three fold saama vEdha.

16.	Om thri lOka aathmanE nama:  -- naamaa no. 652 occurring in slokam

	meaning: one who keeps moving about or travels in all the three
worlds, the soul of all three worlds.

17.	Om thri lOka eesaaya nama:  -- naamaa no. 653 occurring in slokam 69
	meaning: the lord of all the three worlds.

18.	Om thri lOka dhruthE nama: [for sri bhattar]  Om thri lOka dhrugE
nama: for sri sankara -- naamaa no. 757 occurring in slokam  80
	meaning: the bearer of the burden of all three worlds., who is the
support of all three worlds.

19.	Om lOka thraya aasrayaaya nama:  -- naamaa no. 620 occurring in
slokam 65  
-	meaning: with lakshmi he is resorted to by all beings of all three
worlds - shelter for all three worlds.

20.	Om chathu: aathmanE nama:  -- naamaa no. 139 in slokam 15. also
naamaa 775  occurring in slokam 82 
	meaning: who reveals himself in all 4 states awake dreamy, deep
slumber, mOksha., jaagrat swapna, sushupthi, turiyam.
 
21.	Om chathu: vyoohaaya nama:  -- naamaa no. 140 occurring in slokam
15, also naamaa no.773  occurring in slokam 82  
	meaning: who is in emanations - vasudhEva sankarshaNa, pradhyumna,
anirudhdha.

22.	Om chathu: dhamshtraaya nama:  -- naamaa no. 141 occurring in slokam
15  
	meaning: one who has four large teeth in his narasimha avathaaram.

23.	Om chathu: Bhujaaya nama:  -- naamaa no.142  occurring in slokam 15 
	meaning: one who has four hands.

	meaning: he of four forms

	meaning: the four armed lord .

	meaning: who is in the form of four prospects [ purushaartha]  goal
of all 4 varnaas and 4 ways of life.

27.	Om chathu: Bhaavaaya nama:  -- naamaa no. 776  occurring in slokam
82 
	meaning: who displays four types of actions -which are srishti,
sthithi, rakshaNam ssasthra pradhaanam - the source of all fours.

28.	Om chathu: vEdhavidhE nama:  -- naamaa no. 777 occurring in slokam
82 
	meaning: knower of all four vEdhaas orknown to those who have learnt
all the four vEdhaas.

29.	Om chathu: asrayaaya nama:  -- naamaa no. 936 occurring in slokam

	meaning: one who deals with squarely with all - one who does what is
befitting with his devotee.

	meaning: who expresses himself as seven tongues of flames.

-	meaning: who receives oblations in holy fires form with seven kinds
of twigs as fuels. The seven effulgent flames.

32.	Om saptha vaahanaaya nama:  -- naamaa no. 833  occurring in slokam

	meaning: one who has seven vehicles as carriers, a carrier drawn by
seven horses, which are seven days of a week.

33.	Om thri dhasa adhyakshaaya nama:  -- naamaa no.539 occurring in
slokam 57 
	meaning: leader of thirty three dhEvaas - or the 33 koti dhEvaas.

34.	Om satha aavarthanaaya nama:  -- naamaa no. 345  occurring in slokam

	- meaning: one who has 100 whirlpools of aisvaryam.

35.	Om satha aanandhaya nama:  -- naamaa no. 623  occurring in slokam

	meaning: who enjoys hundred fold bliss, that results from his and
her [lakshmi] exhibiting mutual love.

	meaning: lord having one hundred forms - enormous number of forms.

	- meaning: the multi facet lord.

38.	Om sahasra moordhne nama:  -- naamaa no. 226 occurring in slokam 25
	meaning: the 1000 headed lord.

39.	Om sahasra akshaaya nama:  -- naamaa no. 228 occurring in slokam 26

	meaning: the 1000 eyed lord - [also in purusha sooktham]

40.	om sahasra padhE nama: -- naamaa 229 occurring in slokam 29
-	meaning: the 1000 footed.

41.	Om sahasra jithE nama:  -- naamaa no. 307 occurring in slokam 33 
	meaning: conqueror of 1000 of aeons and evil doers.

42.	Om sahasra amsave nama:  -- naamaa no. 484  occurring in slokam 51 
	meaning: he is endowe with immeasurable knowledge in all spheres -
the 1000 rayed sun- sun in samskrith is sahasra amsuh.

43.	Om sahasra archishE nama:  -- naamaa no. 830 occurring in slokam 89

	meaning: who has provided thousands of beneficent rays to sun, who
has in his effulgence thousands of rays.

44.	Om asankhyEyaaya nama:  -- naamaa no. 248  occurring in slokam 28 
meaning: the innumerably formed lord.
