Dear Vijayaraghavan

All of Sri Krishna Premi's works are full of vairagyam and loka-
vilekshanam. One cannot approach him and talk about worldly things at 
all. 

What Paranur Anna (he's affectionately called liked that), says is 
very true. Over time as we get deeper and deeper interest in 
satsangam, we will slowly get rejected by the world also. HE would 
also say one thing that even if all the persons in the world look 
upon you as a nice person and are friendly, if God doesnt shower his 
grace, then one's life is a waste. 

And the contrary is true, even if the entire world thinks we're a 
waste and God likes us, then that's what is needed. 

I can forward you a work by Anna called "Atma Nivedhanam" which is a 
collection of 108verses, of which the last 52 are popularly recited 
everyday. It is full of saranagathi & vairagyam and I also have a 
translation of it in english fortunately.
