Yes.You have heard it correctly. There are also small statues of Vishnu and Hathiram baba playing dice around the corner where 'Unjal seva' is performed. Its also written there in Telugu that Hatiram baaba used to play dice at the same place with venkateshwara. There is also 'Hatiram baaba's' math in the hills of Tirumala. It is also mentioned at the math that Venkateshwara came in the form of 'Hathi'(Elephant) to rescue Baba from a precarious situation. In one of them, one can see the lord playing a game of dice with a very fat person. Can someone on this throw some light on this ? I heard that this was a saint called Hathiram Baba who originally hailed from the north but settled down at tirumala after seeing the lord there. -- -------------------------------------------------------------- - SrImate rAmAnujAya namaH - To Post a message, send it to: bhakti-list@yahoogroups.com Group Home: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bhakti-list Archives: http://ramanuja.org/sv/bhakti/archives/ Your use of Yahoo!
