Re: Dvividha in Srimad Bhagavatam

Malolan

I started off saying that neither was I a pundit of Bhagavatam and
neither would my explanation for Dvivida's vadham be convincing. And
that it was just an attempt and said, I dont even know if it was of
any use to MAni at all. I was just expressing my thoughts.

Now,
a) it doesnt matter to me how many times you discussed the Sri
Vaikuntam vs Karya Vaikuntam stuff, when, where and how and where the
archives lie etc., because am not a regular here.

Nowhere does the moderator mention that one has to cover all the
syllabus of all the archives and read all the volumes of bhasyams
before participating in a discussion here. I thought its a place for
novices like Pradeep to learn from Panditha-Jambavaans like you.

So it beckons some cordiality from you to accomodate the lesser souls.
If indeed I was writing irrelevant of repetitive stuff, then I guess
the moderator could have rejected my posting.

b) onto your explanation. Have you in anyway answered the original
question yet ? other than referring me to archives and Valmiki
Ramayana Bhaashyam i dont see you having answered Mani's original
point through this reply. This comment you could have sent me as a
personal note or the moderator could have done that.

c) Onto the main point of discussion.
If Bhishma was bound by a vow to protect the Kauravas and he himself
gave the suggestion to Yudhistra, then that was his destiny,
Praarabdham. But that still doesnt take the fact away that he was a
devotee of Narayana right ? As long as one sides with evil, either
bound a vow or by blood or friendship or lordship, the result is
clear, you have to perish, maybe its a Brahma-astram, or Sudarshana-
Chakram instead of a mere arrow.

Once again, if dwaara-palakas were born as Asuras, then its possible
for anyone to err at any point.

My stream of thought was that God can play a leelai by which
someone's mind makes him commit an error. Later God himself deals
with it in his own ways. Its all His wish. That's what I was trying
to convey.
