I request you all to attend the classes/discourses organised by Swamy Nammazhwar
Foundation,  headed by Sri Velukkudi Krishnan swamy.

Swamy Nammazhwar (India) Foundation is a social service organisation committed
to spreading the principles of SriVisishtadvaita, as established and propounded
by our Azhwars and Acharyas.

Swamy Nammazhwar (I) Foundation is headquartered at Chennai and its Bangalore
Chapter was inaugurated in April 2001.

The Foundation is involved in many social activities such as providing drinking
water and basic amenities in villages around our Divyadesams. It is also
involved in religious activities such as

i)   Conducting ongoing educational programs (in a class room mode) on the Basic
Principles of Sri Visishtadvaita, Guru Parampara and our sacred texts (Divya
Prabhandams and their Vyakyanams).
ii)  Teaching Arulicheyal and Stotra Paadams (in Sandhai mode)
iii) Conducting tours to Divya desams
iv)  Honouring of learned vidwans
v)   Distribution of our religious texts (Prabhandams) and (Upanyasam) cassettes
to public

In continuation with its current set of activities, the foundation is planning
to conduct a Lecture series in English at Bangalore on ?Bhagavad Geetha?. The
Foundation is targeting a large audience in tune of around 200 ? 300 people to
attend this program. The details of this program is given below.

             The first lecture series on Chapter I is scheduled on
                           22nd, 23rd September, 2001
                        between 6.30 P.M. and 8.30 P.M.

                        M.E.S. Kishore Kendra Auditorium
                  IX Main, 15th Cross, Malleswaram, Bangalore.




Understanding and practicing Bhagavad Geetha is of paramount importance to a
soul. Sri. U. Ve. Velukkudi Krishnan Swamy is an eminent scholar from Chennai.
Swamy?s presentation is unique and it reaches one and all with ease. His ability
to understand and clear the doubts of the audience is admirable. Swamy has been
successful in addressing many forums in India and abroad on the subject.

Chapter-wise lectures are planned and will continue every two months. The
lectures will be in held in classroom sessions with conventional presentation
techniques. Notes on the subject would also be distributed to all participants.
