Appeal for Construction of Bhagawat Ramanuja Swamy Sannidhi


Dear Devotee:

A shrine for Lord Venkateshwara (Balaji) has been constructed on the
lines of Tirumala here at Nerul, Bombay.  The temple was consecrated
at the hands of H. H. Tirupathi Chinna Jeer Swami.  The Swami has also
affirmed that the Temple rituals shall strictly be followed as at
Tirumala.

As per Tirumal tradition, the Bhagwat Ramanuja Swamy Sannidhi would be
facing Hundi.  The speciality at Tirumala is that Bhagawat Ramanuja
Swamy is in Upadesha Mudra and it bears testimony to the fact that He
adorns a special place as an Acharya in Tirumala.

The Sannidhi will be built using hand sculpted granite stones to be
specially brought from Tamil Nadu.  The cost of the construction would
be around Rs 12 laks.  With the help of devotees like you, we are sure
that the job will be made simple.  We approach you to help in
completing the memorable Sannidhi for our Great Guru and be recipent
of His Blessings.

The Kumbhabhishekam ofthe Bhagawat Ramanuja Swamy Sannidhi is slated
on the April/May 2001 on the birthstar of our Great Guru. Sri. H. H.
Thotadri Mutt Jeer Swami has kindly agreed to perform this
Kumbhishekam.

Donations made to the construction of the Bhagawat Ramanuja Swamy
Sannidhi will be exempted from Income Tax under Section 80 G.

Contributions for this project may be made through cash/DD/Cheque.
