A question on Nrisimhapanchaamruta stotram

Om Namo Narayana
Namaskaram to All Bhaghavataas,

In the site www.prapatti.com, which houses lots of
slokams (kotti thanks to the person maintaining such a
wonderful site), I came across this stotram called
"Nrisimha Panchaamruta Stotram". The author of this
stotram was given to be Rama. Can somebody explain the
backgound of this stotram and its significance?
