Hi Shyam,

The upasthAna-mantra for sandhyAvandanam is the
mantra that is recited after the conclusion of the
gAyatri-japa.  In the morning, after sunrise the
upasthAna begins with the Rk 'mitrasya-carSaNi-dhRtaH...'.
At midday it begins with 'Asatyena rajasA...' 
After sunset it begins with 'imam me varuNa...'.
