Sri: SrImatyaI GodayaI Nama: SrI Sundaravalli Nayaki samEtha SrI Sundararaja Parabhramane Nama: Dear Members, As Sri Venkatesh Elayavalli has mentioned ,apart from Thirupathi Perumal being the universal Kula Deivam for all SrI Vaishnavas some families do have additional temples as kula deivam perumaal depending on one's location or other factors. Usually this tradition of worship would have continued over for many generations for the Perumaal considered as kula deivam. In our case SrI Sundararaja Perumal, Kattu Azhagar kovil, SrIvilliputtur (This temple would be well known to people from madurai and southern districts) is our Kula deivam. Some familes may have some set traditions which they would follow for different important functions in their family which would include worshipping the kula deivam apart from worship at major temples depending on the location like at Andaal Temple in our case. adiyen Ramanuja dasan Venkat S Iyengar -- ------------------------ Yahoo!
