Srimathe Ramaanujaaya namaha,

Dear Sri K. Raamaanujan,

what ever my knowledge goes, kula daivam in the srivaishnava tradition IS Srimannaaraayana.
But each one of Srivaishnavas are belonging to some of the groups, viz., mutt, swayam acharya purashas and some native village famous for the temple over there.  In such a case, each srivaishnava family worship the form of Vishnu to which ever group they belong.

for eg. Those who are associated with Ahobila mutt - worship Lord Lakshminrusimha swamy, those belonging to Parakala mutt worship Lord Lakshmihayagreeva swamy and those belonging to Kanchipuram worship Lord Varadaraajaswamy and those of Tirupathy Lord Srinviasa and Srirangam - Sri Ranganatha.

Kanakadaasa worshipped Kaaginele Aadikeshava, Sri Bhadrachala Ramadaasa worshipped Srirama of Bhadrachala, and so on w.r.t. Sri Thyagarajar and thousands of stonch worshippers of Pundareeka Vittala from Pandarapura.

Apart from Kula daivam, There is one more mana daivam.  That is loving a particular form of Vishnu may be which is kula daivam or a different form.  In my family, Kula daivam is Lord Lakshminrusimha Swamy, my brother always worships Lord SriRama and myself worship Lord Srinivasa.  

Any form of Lord Vishnu is acceptable.  But must be an "EKA DAIVA VRATHAM".
