Is the household use of Thirumani in Desika Sampradhaya is
to emphasize the fact that Sri Vedanta Desika an avatar of the
Thirumani of Thrivengadamudaiyaan ?
Something like respect/"aetram" to Sri Vedanta Desika..

[ The short answer is "No". The ghaNTa or tirumaNi is used
because the shastras which prescribe how to worship Bhagavaan
specify its use at certain times. The Thengalai tradition
reads the shastra differently when it comes to worship at
