Dear SrI RanganAtha BhakthAs:

Number of you inquired about accomodations
while you visit the Temple during the First 
anniversary of MahA SamprOkshaNam scheduled
during the Memorial Day Weekend. The following
note from SrI Ramesh provides particulars on
accomodations in and  around the temple.

The following Yahoo ID has been set up for people to request / respond to the 
following:

ranga_accommodation@yahoo.com   
    

1.    Local Volunteers who can provide accommodation during the Samprokshnam 
days
2.    Out of Town devotees who would like to stay with local volunteers
3.    Out of town devotees to inquire about Motel discounts

I will coordinate with Prasad the temple manager to set up some discounts in 
local / surrounding area Motels. As soon as we have compiled the information, 
I will prepare an announcement which we can then send to anyone requesting 
this information.

Meanwhile, If Nagu mami (I believe she manages our devotee Broadcast 
Announcements) can send a e-mail to all devotees to reply to this address:

with their requests for accommodation /volunteering to offer space with the 
following details, we can ramp this activity up to the next level. If we have 
some confirmed requests for Motels, we can leverage some discounts too.

Out of town people:

1.    Type of accommodation - stay with someone / Motel
2.    Number of people in the family / group
3.    Days accommodation required for
4.    Any special requests

Local Volunteers:

1.    Where they live
2.    How many people they can accommodate
3.    Any other specific/s (for example if someone wants to stay with me I 
would recommend them to not rent a car - parking in my locality is expensive) 
etc.

Additionally, I request all of you on this list to forward this e-mail to 
your friends who intend to come to the Temple at all occasions too. From now 
on we will use this for all occasions including major functions.
