Dear bhAgavathas,

about 10 days ago, my parents, my wife, and myself, along with our close
friends conducted a nice grhapravEsham for my parents' new home in Colorado
Springs, a rapidly growing city that is located about 60 miles south of
Denver.  

The function was officiated by Sri Narasimhan Bhattar, formerly one of the
chief Bhattars at Srirangam, who now serves at Sri Srinivasar Temple in Los
Angeles.  With the valuable assistance of our two good friends and fellow
members of this forum, Sri C.S. Ramesh and Sri Keshav Rajagopalan, Sri
Narasimhan Bhattar led us in the performance of Sri Sudarshana Homam, Sri
LakshmiNarasimha Homam, Sri Lakshmi Homam, and Sri Narayana Homam, and a
prOkshanam of the home.

Sri Narasimhan Bhattar extends his compliments to all the members of the
Bhakti Forum on our dedication to maintaining the riches of our sAmpradayam.
He also offers his services as a priest in conducting traditional
SriVaishnava religious functions in our homes and community gatherings.

Sri Bhattar will be visiting India to participate in a wonderful utsavam (he
did not mention the name of this event) that will be taking place in
Srirangam on November 29, 30 and 31.  The highlight of the event will be a
lakshadIpa kainkarya to Sri Ranganathar, Sri Ranganayaki nAchiyAr, and Sri
Sudharshanar.  Donations are being accepted to sponsor this kainkaryam, and
can be made by contacting Sri Bhattar before November 10.
