farewell to Bhakti list (temporarily)
From the Bhakti List Archives
• October 14, 1996
Dear members of the Bhakti mailing list, I have been fortunate enough to be on this list and have followed the debates, dialogues and discourses for all these days. I have now completed my graduate program at Cornell University. I had my PhD thesis defense on Friday (11th October 1996) and passed the exam. I will be leaving Cornell at the end of this week and will be going back to India -- forever. I will be going straight to Sri Rangam where my parents live (and will be meeting Sri Keshava Dasa there), and then after a few days there, will settle down either in Madras or Bombay. [I will be doing fulltime work for a non-profit organization called CricInfo, which works towards making available information about the game of cricket on the Internet] I should be having internet access but it will take me some time to setup these things in India. Until then, I request Mani to remove my name from this mailing list. I am leaving for London (and from there to Madras) on Saturday (19th of October) and will be reading my emails until Friday. So if any of you wish to contact me for some reason, feel free to send me an email. I hope to be back on this list by mid-November at least. After 18th of October, if you need to contact me, please do send mail to the address badri@cricket.org though, I will probably get to read it only much later. Thank you. Badrinarayanan
