This is the first of a series of postings from a special 1992 English
Edition of Nrsimhapriya. Today's posting contains messages from the
44th and 45th Jeers to the editors of the publication.

1) Message from His Holiness Srimate Srivan Shathakopa Sri Vedanta
Desika Yateendra Mahadesikar The 44th Jeer of Sri Ahobila Mutt.

Sreemathe Sri Lakshmi Nrisimha Parabrahmane Namaha:
Sreevan Sathakopa Sri Veeraraghava Sathakopa Yateendra Maha Desikaaya
Namah: (43rd Jeer).

Salutations to the Guru Parampara - the holy line of succession of
Acharyas - initiated by Lakshmi Narayana with Nathamuni and
Yamunacharya in the middle and extending upto our present Acharyas.

THIS SAMPRADAYA OF SRI SANNIDHI HAS BEEN GOING ON WITH AN UNBROKEN
LINE OF GURU PARAMPARA FROM TIME IMMEMORIAL, SPREADING ITS BRANCHES
ALL OVER BHARAT LIKE A HUGE BANYAN TREE - AND ALL THIS WITH THE GRACE
OF MALOLA (Lakshmi Nrsimha).

This Parampara is the sure highway to salvation of ALL living beings
who, having been immersed in the ocean of Karma, are unable to find
their right path and have clung to the worldly life that is Samsara.

By refuge in this Guru Parampara, all mortals through surrender
(Saranagati) at the lotus feet of God will be rid of all sorrows and
will be OVERWHELMED WITH HAPPINESS AT THE PROSPECT OF ATTAINING
MOKSHA SAMRAJYAM (the empire of salvation).

Beginning with Sri Adivan Sathakopa, 45 Pontiffs have adorned this
great seat of Acharyas serving and blessing this world. We are glad
to learn that Sri Nrsimha Priya, being published our Hyderabad Branch
of the Muth for the last 12 years, is now bringing out a Special
Issue on "Azhagiya Singars of Ahobilam", in two editions English and
Telegu - detailing the history of the times when all of these
Acharyas lived, their period of Asthanam, their scholarship, their
Anushthana, the efficacy of their worship of the Lord, their passage
to Brindavanam etc.

We wish that the devotees of the Muth in India and abroad will read
this Special Issue and will earn the utmost grace of Malola.

2) Message from Srimate Srivan Shathakopa Sri Narayana Yateendra
Mahadesikar the 45th Jeer of Sri Ahobila Mutt.

Sreemathe Srivan Sathakopa Sri Veeraraghava Sathakopa Yateendra
MahaDesikaya Namaha:
Sreemadbhyam Srivan Sathakopa Sree Vedantha Desika - Narayan
Yateendra Maha Desikaabhyam Namaha.
Salutations to this great line of Acharyas beginning with Lakshmi
Narayana and shining with 64 Kalas.
As is known to all, in the Sannidhi Sampradaya of our Ahobila Muth
beginning with Lakshmi Narasimha, 64 (45+19) eminent Acharyas who are
embodiment of learning and Anushthana, constitute the unbroken and
illustrious line of succession of great Gurus, cleansing the sins and
sorrows of their disciples who pray to them daily and seek their
refuge at the feet of these Acharyas.

Sri Adivan Sathakopa Yateendra MahaDesikan was the Founder of this
great Sampradaya, who was blessed with the robes of Sannyasi and
Preshya Mantra by Malola Himself in the form of a Yogiand who
initiated this never declining line of Acharyas. His successors all
carried His mantle with great distinction and divinity and have been
shining as Muktas. All should know this line of great Acharyas
beginning with the Lord Himself, individually. It is gratifying that
Sri Nrisimha Priya, a magazine being published by our Hyderabad
branch of the Muth for the last 12 years is bringing out a Special
Issue dedicated to Acharyas of Ahobilam in two separate editions -
English and Telegu - to perputate their memory. We earnestly wish
that all devotees who read this special Issue will be blessed with
all prosperity by Lord Malola.
