Significance of number 32

On the significance of number 32, V. Sadagopan writes: (2) Scriptures: A total of 32 from the combination of 18 chapters of Bhagavad Gita, 4 Adhyayas of Brahma Sutra and the 10 decads of Nammazhwar"s Thiruvaimozhi. To be consistent with SriVaisnava philosophy, what this means is that Nammazhwar's Thiruvaimozhi is weighted same as Bhagavad Gita and Brahma Sutras. If indeed the addends are observed to have added up to the number 32 by SriVaisnava Acarryas, this it is a significant finding, especially for those not familiar with SriVaisnavism. -Eswar Josyula
