Vaisnava Naamaalu
From the Bhakti List Archives
• October 18, 1995
This is about Krish's e-mail where he was appalled that Vaisnanva naamalu are given importance. It really hurt me to read the e-mail that the naamalu adorned on the body are viwed as some kind of blind rituals. Whenver I see a Vaisnava with the naamalu on the body, they remind me of the holy names of God and the paramatma within each and every being. I pay my respectful obeisances to those Vaisnavas on this group and elsewhere who adorn the Vaisnava markings. Blessed are these people for their faith and conviction in Vishnu and His para- phernalia. I do not feel that I am even qualified to be the servant of the servant of the servant of such Vaisnavas. -Eswar Josyula
