Sri Ramanuja's tradition today
From the Bhakti List Archives

Dear Sri Vaishnavas, As a college student born and raised in the tradition of Sri Ramanuja, I am currently contemplating the message of Sri Ramanuja for the world today. With so much of the world changing so quickly, these times are most uncertain. People seem agitated by this uncertainty, and afraid of the future. Random acts of violence seem to permeate modern life, and unfortunately most all of us have accepted this. How do features of the Sri Vaishnava tradition integrate into our lives in a modern setting and context? Many Vaishnavas are settled abroad, far away from the divya sthalams, and many more are settled in places that have no temple in the immediate vicinity or even in neighboring areas? These questions are broad in scope but I think answers to these questions would be helpful especially for the youth who are part of this list. adiyen Sri Raamanuja daasan, Krishnan -------------------------------------------------------------- - SrImate rAmAnujAya namaH - To Post a message, send it to: bhakti-list@yahoogroups.com Group Home: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bhakti-list Archives: http://ramanuja.org/sv/bhakti/archives/ Your use of Yahoo!
