Continuing with the discussions on the Hayagriva mantram, I would
like to know if the actual mantram itself is available with someone ?
I have been reading several articles on the net about the greatness
of the mantram and who have chanted it etc.
If someone can actually pass on the actual mantram itself it would be
great. I have heard that it is quite a long one, longer than the
Gayatri which has 24-syllables.

[ Pardon me for interjecting, but the Hayagriva Mantra and others
like it are only to be received through upadesa from a mantra-siddha
purusha. Even for the Gayatri Mantra, the father or guru should
have a store of 100,000 or so Gayatris (I forget the exact count)
before he imparts the mantra during upanayanam to the child. [This
was mentioned by Sri Tirukkudandai Andavan Swami in the course of
a discourse on Srimad Ramayana.] What to say of a special mantra
like the Hayagriva Mantra! -- Mani ]
