The most primary verse would be the Vishnu Suktham occuring in the Rig Veda. The Narayana Anuvakam also re-asserts that Sriman Lakshmi Sametha Naarayanan is the para-brahman. There are innumerable other upanishads, aranyakams which assert to the supremacy of vIshnu.
