Dear sri vaishNava perunthagaiyeer,
 
In this post 3 on sri vshNu sahasra naamam, we will see some Sri vishnu's
naamaas which are grammatically opposite in words and thereby the meaning,
some naamaas which are opposite in meaning only. [ may be some are directly
opposite which you can notice immediately. but in certain others due to
certain structure changes which are the specialty of the samskrith language
some naamaas may look different]

This is mainly from the angle of enjoying the duality of the guNaas of my
sri krishna..

First grammatically opposite:
1.	Om eesaanaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 65 occurring in slokam 8 
	meaning: the controller.

	opposite - Om aneesaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 632 occurring in slokam
67 
	meaning: who does not exercise his lordship.

2.	Om niyamaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 163 occurring in slokam 17. Also
naama 869 in slokam 92 
	meaning: he who is the controller. 869 - one who ordains.

	Opposite - Om aniyamaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 865 of sankara
occurring in slokam 92 
	meaning: he who is not  under laws of any other person.

3.	Om yamaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 164 occurring in slokam 17 and also
870 in sloka 92 
	meaning: the ruler [164], he who controls and directs [870].

	Opposite - Om ayamaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 866 [of sankara]
occurring in slokam 92 
	meaning: one who knows no death.

4.	Om dhamanaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 192 occurring in slokam 21 
	meaning: who dispells or subdues or controls the sufferings in
samsaara or the raakshasic impulses in a person.

	Opposite - Om adhamaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 865 occurring in slokam
92 
	meaning: who is never subdued by anybody.

5.	Om nimishaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 215 occurring in slokam 23 
	meaning: he whose eyes are closed to wicked persons.

	Opposute is - Om animishaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 216 occurring in
slokam 23 
	meaning: he whose eyes are open wide and awake to all.

6.	Om nayaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 400 occurring in slokam 43 
	meaning:he ho draws all beings towards himself - or one who leads.

	Opposite- Om anayaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 401 occurring in slokam 43

	meaning: he who can not be led away by his enemies - not guided or
lead by any other person.

7.	Om arthaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 431 occurring in slokam 46
	meaning: the goal desired by all - invoked by every one.

	Opposite is - Om anarthaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 432 occurring in
slokam 46 
	meaning: he who is not the goal - one to whom nothing is yet to be
fulfilled.

8.	Om sathe nama: -- naamaa no. 478 occurring in slokam 51 
	meaning: the all pervading existence in all things.

	Opposite - Om asathE nama: -- naamaa no. 479 occurring in slokam 51
[ sri sankara considers this way] 
	meaning: one who has conditioned existence and confined to world of
plurality.

9.	Om ksharaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 480 occurring in slokam 51 [sri
sankara considers this naamaa] 
	meaning: immutable appearing as though changing

	opposite- Om aksharaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 481 occurring in slokam
51 [ sri sankara considers this naama]
	meaning: imperishable- he who never wanes. Also naama 17  in slokam
2 [for both sri sankara and sri bhattar] of same meaning.

10.	Om jayaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 511occurring in slokam 54 
	meaning: one who is conquered by his devotees.

	 Opposite - Om dhurjayaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 781 occurring in
slokam 83 
	meaning: one who can not be subjugated- one who can not be won.

11.	Om dharpaGhnE nama: -- naamaa no. 717 occurring in slokam 76 
	meaning: the destroyer of pride

	opposite - Om adharpadhaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 718 occurring in
slokam 76 
	meaning:the giver of pride

12.	Om Ekaaya nama:  or Om Ekasmai nama: -- naamaa no. 730  occurring in
slokam 78 
	- meaning: the lord with out a superior or an equal - one without a
second

	opposite - Om na Ekaaya nama:  -- naamaa no. 731 occurring in slokam

	- meaning: the many- who is not only one but many

13.	Om chalaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 752 occurring in slokam 79  
	meaning: he who swerves to protect his devotees.

	Opposite - Om achalaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 751 occurring in slokam

	meaning: the unshakeable or unmovable

14.	Om srungiNE nama: -- naamaa no. 803 occurring in slokam  85
	meaning: one who has a horn

	opposite - Om na Eka srungiNE nama: -- naamaa no. 769 occurring in
slokam 81 
	meaning: one who has not only one horn [ but many]

15.	Om EkaathmanE nama: -- naamaa no. 965 occurring in slokam 103
	meaning: the only supreme being

	opposite - Om na EkaathmanE nama: -- naamaa no. 469 occurring in
slokam 50  
	meaning: he with diverse forms at the same time.

	Now meaning wise opposites:

16.	Om suraariGhnE nama: -- naamaa no. 210 occurring in slokam 23
	meaning: slayer of enemies of dhEvaas - god of heaven

	opposite- Om dhuraariGhnE nama: -- naamaa no. 787 occurring in
slokam 83 
	meaning: he who exterminated evil minded asuraas

17.	Om sulaBhaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 823 occurring in slokam 88 
	meaning: he who is easily accessible.

	opposite -Om dhurlaBhaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 783 occurring in

	meaning: who is difficult to obtain.

	meaning: who is the minutest in size

	meaning: who is great and vast, all surpassing.

	meaning: who is very light

	meaning: one who honours his devotees.

	Opposite or you can call it reciprocal - Om maanyaaya nama: --

	meaning: he who is to be honoured.

22.	Om krutha karmaNE nama: -- naamaa no. 794 occurring in slokam 84 
	meaning: one who has fulfilled all his activities.

	Opposite - Om  na Eka karma kruthE nama: -- naamaa no. 470 occurring
in slokam 50 
	meaning: one who does many actions in one time.

23.	Om mahaa morrthayE nama: -- naamaa no. 723 occurring in slokam 77 
	meaning: he of immense forms

	opposite - Om amoorthimathE nama: -- naamaa no. 725 occurring in
slokam 77 
	meaning: he who is subtle and unmanifest or formless.

24.	Om guNa BhruthE nama: -- naamaa no. 843 occurring in slokam 90 
	meaning: one who supports all the things in their guNaas or
charecteristics.

	Opposite - Om nirguNaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 844 occurring in slokam
90
	meaning: one who is without any charecteristics.

25.	Om soonyaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 749 occurring in slokam  79
meaning: the void -without attributes, glories - devoid of defects

opposite - Om poorNaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 690 occurring in slokam 73  
meaning:one who is full - of glories and powers.
