Re: Gajendra Moksham

There is an interesting observation from the Gajendra Moksha
charitram. I dont know how many have heard this before.

Even though, Gajendra does the stuthi of the lord and lord appears
etc., it is the crocodile that is first killed, or in other words
liberated first!

Why should the crocodile get liberated first ? Because he has
knowingly or unknowingly caught the leg of a Bhaagavatan, a Bhaktan,
a devotee of the lord!!

Therefore, the observation is that one who holds tight to the leg of
a true devotee of the Lord is sure to get liberated. If we hold on
tightly to a devotee of the lord, and the devotee is true & bonafide,
our faith will be upheld and we need not worry about reaching God's
feet.

Bhagavan might give the devotee a darshanam at some point, but in
case it turns out that we have to die first, even then we need not
worry about reaching God.

Radhe Krishna
