Is this a healthy feeling? ============ Really a strange question. nice but unusual. adiyEn tries to think loud on the query. No doubt, there are more chances for us to srve the Lord during uthsavam days. But that does not mean that there are no avenues at all for us to srve on non-uthsavam days. What is servcie? Carry some waters from nearyby river from where theertham is brought fro the Lord for Thirumanjanam. Or gather some thuLasi and arrange to make a garland. Something. Get a broom from the store (of teh temple) and sweep. Or at least pick up few litters thrown by devotees on the floor. We need to get inspiration from the Greatest Seshan (servant) - Adhiseshan, who serves the Lord in all respects at all times. senRaal kudaiyaam; irundhaal singaasanamaam; ninRaal maravadiyaam; neeL kadaluL enRum puNaiyaam; maNi viLakkam; poom pattaam; pulgum aNaiyaam ThirumaaRkku aravu. What an excellent epitome of Servitude! He (AdhisEshan) serves the Lord as an umbrella(when he walks) ; throne (when He sits); also as pAdhuka (when He walks); as a couch; as a pillow; as a lamp; as Peethaambaram; as the Ned and all else. As and when, whatever is needed by the Lord He takes that form and serves, immediately, at that moment.
