Even a single sloka/prabhandham of Thoopul ThiruvEmakatamudiayaan's (Swamy Desikan's) is adequate for getting salvation and blessed with the eternal world. 1. All children from the age of 5 upto 25 are eligible to participate in this. A mere recitation of one sloka or prabhandham of Swamy Desikan is enough for getting a certificate from Srimad Poundarikapuram Andavan Ashramam (asmadhAchAryan). 2. If a child can recite five complete sthOtharm (without referring to book), he /she will be given a "gaNTA maNi". 3. Recitaters of all 28 sthOthras of Swamy Desikan will be blessed with a "saaLagraamam". adiyEn's request: Please organise such recitation competition during NAMA events at your centers. Please furnish the list of names, age, sloka no. and /or how many slokas. Please contact Sri Vijaykumar (e-mail: vkumar@ncs.com.sg); he will contact Sri C. Sehsadri Swamin and send certificates. Same child can recite other slokas in next events and get more certs. There is NO END. This will keep our children be aware of our traditions and slokas. will keep us alfo be aware of.
