Dear Members,

The Bhakti List is back fully online. I apologize
for the intermittency of last week.  I was called 
unexpectedly away to Las Vegas on a business trip, 
and I subsequently had computer problems, which 
prevented me from making the list operate independently 
of me during my absence.

Let me take this opportunity to remind list users
of some helpful guidelines:

  (1) Please view this list primarily as a "discussion 
      group", where we can freely exchange ideas about
      the philosophy, religious practice, and history
      of the Sri Vaishnava tradition.

  (2) The Bhakti List is only secondarily a place where people
      can post a "series" of articles about a relevant
      topic of their choosing.  If you choose to post such
      a series, please space out your posts to one every
      two or three days, so you don't drown out other
      discussions, etc. 

  (3) Please do not simply repost prepared text or text
      prepared for another forum on the Bhakti List. It is
      more advisable to point readers to a Web site, or to
      send it by private email.
