You may read that to appreciate this posting in the proper perspective.

Challenge 3.26: "DON'T MISS THIS CHANCE OF EARNING THE KATAKSHAM OF             
    THE DIVINE MOTHER!"

tattva avabhOdha samitha prathikoola vriththim
kainkarya labda karaNa traya sAmarasyam /
krutvA tvad anya vimukham krupayA svayam mAm
sppAthim drusOh: prathi labhasva jagaj jananyAh: //
(Sri SaraNAgathi Deepikai SlOkam 57)

Meaning

"Oh! ViLakkoLi perumAnE!
Only you should, by your sheer mercy, make me intelligent enough (tattva 
avabhOdha) to give up  my misdemeanor (samitha prathikoola vriththim)
and make me perform your kainkaryam (kainkarya labda) with my mind, word and 
deed acting in unison (karaNa traya sAmarasyam)

If you do this, you will have the bonanza!

What bonanza?

The cool and blossoming glance (sppAthim drusOh:) of the Universal mother 
(jagaj jananyAh)

You know why?
Because, I am her child also!

Don't miss this opportunity and regret later!"

Comment

SwAmi emphasizes in the above slOkam-

In the first line - GnAnam (tattva avabhOdha)
In the second line - AnushTanam (kainkarya labda)
In the third line - VairAghyam (tvad anya vimukham)

- the triple qualities essential for a Prapanna.
 
SwAmi suggests that the mother of the Universe will be pleased that the Lord 
had given HER ward, the protection needed and would, therefore, cast Her 
happy and loving glance at the Lord. SwAmi seems to advise the Lord not to 
miss this chance!

There seems to be a hidden warning also, to the Lord that if He were to 
abandon him, Periya PirAtti who is "agjnAtha nigraha" (who is ignorant of 
punishing) will take over and protect him -- "vEri mArAtha poomEl iruppAL 
vinai theerkkum"!
