Purpose of Life

I do want to sress my respect of all of and in no way try to teach you. Mani has given a nice answer. I do not whether Narayana created us or directed the individual soul to be born is a Hindu concept. But our puranaas say that. If one uses Ramayana as amn example, every character has a pre-ordained purpose and that includes Ravana, Kumbhakaran, Vibeeshana Wali, Sugriva and the brothers and the rest. All who die attain moksha, irrespective of their acts or pupose in life. I feel that man is a thinking animal and is concerned about his actions and passage of time. This is when he questions his existence. When we are active with other interests, it is not a concern. We are busy. I think this where Karma or action comes into play. If we are fully in this mode, time and thought are of no concern. Bkakti probably fulfills this thought process when one is idling. Krish
