Manu gives various forms of
marriage ceremonies - Brhamanyam, Ghandarvam,
Rakshasam etc.
Bharat was born of Ghandarva, Dushyabta asking
Shakuntala to truste her urge. It is a nice passage
in Kalidasa. Practice of rituals tend to
become social manners and one joins the club.
