Dear sri vaishNava perunthagaiyeer,

In this post we will see the sree vishNu sahasra naamavaLi having the common thread of "supremely great" - viz- naamas having samskritha words of "uththamam" "thamam" or "paramam".

First "uththamam" namaas:

1.	Om purusha uththamaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 24 occurring in slOkam 2
	Meaning: supreme amongst purushaas- supreme amongst souls 

2.	Om Dhaathu: uththamaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 45 occurring in slOkam 5
	Meaning: the best of creators - the subtlest dhaathu - means ore or base - the fundamental chith dhaathu andthat is the uththama dhaathu.

3.	Om anuththamaaya nama: -- naamaa no.81 occurring in slOkam 9
	meaning: the unsurpassed 
	[avidhyamaana: uththamO yasmaath anuththama:]
	[uththmo naasthi yasmaath sa: anuththama:]

4.	Om Bhujaga uththamaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 195 occurring in slOkam 21
	Meaning: master of serpents. Sacred serpent anantha- I am anatha among serpents geethaa 10- 29

5.	Om Dharma vidh uththamaaya nama: -- naamaa no.405 occurring in slOkam 43
	meaning: the foremost among the knowers of dharma - highest among men of virtue. 

6.	Om gnaanam uththamaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 455 occurring in slOkam 48
	Meaning:  the greatest knowledge- supreme knowledge. 

7.	Om  padham an uththamaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 738 occurring in slOkam 78
	Meaning: supreme state of truth - supreme goal which is unsurpassed.
	 
	B: second "thamam" naamaas:

8.	Om guru: guru thamaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 211 occurring in slOkam 23
	Meaning: foremost among the preceptors- the greatest teacher.

9.	Om puru sath thmaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 509 occurring in slOkam 54
	Meaning: greatest among great - ever remaining with great devotees.

10.	Om gathi sath thamaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 571 occurring in slOkam 60
	Meaning: who shows best and righteous path - ultimate refuge for all devotees.

11.	Om sanathana thamaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 898 occurring in slOkam 96
	Meaning: ageless but still new. Most ancient.

12.	Om vidhvath thamaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 920  occurring in slOkam 98
	Meaning: one who has the greatest wisdom 

	c. third - paramam naamaas:

13.	Om parama aathmanE nama: -- naamaa no.11 occurring in slOkam 2
	Meaning: the supreme soul. Transcending all limitations and imperfections of matter.

14.	Om  mukthaanaam parama gathayE nama: -- naamaa no. 12 occurring in slOkam 2
	Meaning: the supreme soul for emancipated souls - final goal of all liberated souls.

15.	Om mangalaaya paramaayai nama: -- naamaa no. 64 occurring in slOkam 7
	Meaning: the supreme auspiciousness.

16.	Om parama eeswaraaya nama: -- naamaa no. 378 occurring in slOkam 41
	meaning: the supreme ruler - one who is omni potent and all glorious.

17.	Om  parama spashtaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 392 occurring in slOkam 42
	Meaning: whose greatness is explicit- the extremely vivid.

18.	Om parama ishtinE nama: -- naamaa no. 420 occurring in slOkam 45
Meaning: who is residing in supreme abode - who is centered in his own glory
