Dear All,

Adiyen N.Parthasarathy had joined the group about two months ago but skipped the introduction by oversight. 

Briefly, I belong to Madras - born and brought up there - literally  on "koovam nadhikaraiyinile".  poorvEgam - Mannargudi in Tanjore District but no real interests.

Academically, nothing much to write home about but at the moment, I am an official with a private sector bank in Bombay.  

My friend Mr.Vanamamalai Padmanabhan is my mentor on these matters and it is through him that I am trying to know at least a miniscule part of our philosophy, scriptures and prabhandam.   I find most of the mail very illuminating though my own lack of knowledge in these areas is certainly a dampener.
