Dear sri vaishNava perunthagaiyeer,

In this post we will see naamaas of sree Vishnu sahasra naamam having the common thread of the word "sarvam"  - meaning 'ellaam' in tamil - total, complete, full, and/ or absolute.

1.	Om sarvasmai nama: -- naamaa no.25 occurring in slOkam 3
	meaning: he who is all and every thing.

2.	Om sarva dharsanaaya nama: -- naamaa no.95 occurring in slOkam 10
	meaning: he who displays all glory - omnispective.

3.	Om sarva eeswaraaya nama: -- naamaa no.97 occurring in slOkam 11
	meaning: he who reaches all - the supreme controller- all mighty and all powerfull.

4.	Om sarva aadhayE nama: -- naamaa no. 100 occurring in slOkam 11
	meaning: prime source of all - the very beginning of all.

5.	Om sarva yOga vinisruthaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 104 occurring in slOkam 11
	meaning: one who is attainable by all means. One who is freefrom all contacts and attachments.

6.	Om sarva gaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 124 occurring in slOkam 14
	meaning: one who has gone everywhere- he who reaches all.

7.	Om sarva vidhE nama: -- naamaa no.125 occurring in slOkam 14
	meaning: he who secures all - one who is all knowing.
	For sri sankara this naamaa is Om sarva vidhBhaanavE nama combining with next naama Bhaanu].

8.	Om sarva dhrugE nama: -- naamaa no.201 occurring in slOkam 22
	Also naamaa no. 577 occurring in slOkam 61 
	meaning: he who perceives all, seer and knower of all.
	[For sri sankara this naamaa is Om sarva dhrug vyaasaaya nama: - same meaning] 

9.	Om sarva lakshaNa lakshaNyaaya nama: -- naamaa no.362 occurring in slOkam 39
	meaning: the supreme diety- the consort of sri - one who is known through all methods of proof.

10.	Om sarva dharsinE nama: -- naamaa no.452 occurring in slOkam 48
	meaning: he who sees all- all knower.

11.	Om sarvagnaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 454 occurring in slOkam 48. 
	also naamaa no.821 in slOkam 87
	Meaning: for 454 - all knowing- knower of own self.
	For 821 - pure knowledge- omniscient all knowing. 

12.	Om sarvatha chakshushE nama: -- naamaa no. 631 occurring in slOkam 67
	meaning: one who is perceptible to eyes of all at all places and at all times.

13.	Om sarva aasu nilayaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 715 occurring in slOkam 76
	meaning: the abode of all souls- the abode of all life energies.

14.	Om sarva sasthra Bhruthaam varaaya nama: -- naamaa 765 occurring in slokam 81 
	meaning: best of those weilding all types of weapons.

15.	Om sarva vijjayinE nama: -- naamaa no. 805 occurring in slOkam 85
	meaning: he who conquered those who were learned - omniscient and victorious.

16.	Om sarva vaak eeswara eeswaraaya nama: -- naamaa no. 808 occurring in slOkam 86 
	meaning: the very lord of the lord of speech - best among all great and eloquent arguers. 

17.	Om sarvathOmukhaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 822 occurring in slOkam 87
	Meaning :  he who is multi faced- one who has his face turned everywhere.

18.	Om sarva kaamadhaaya  nama: -- naamaa no.855 occurring in slOkam 91
	meaning: the bestower of all desires - one who fulfills all desires of all true devotees.

19.	Om sarva sahaaya nama: -- naamaa no. 867 occurring in slOkam 92
	meaning: he who supports - one who carries the entire universe.

20.	Om sarva: eekaraaya nama: -- naamaa no. 914 occurring in slOkam 97
meaning: one who creates darkness everywhere - one who holds five weapons.

21. Om sarva praharaNa aayudhaaya nama: -- 1000 occurring in slOkam 107
meaning: he who has all the weapons that act against evil. Who has all implements for all kinds of assault and fight.

In the subsequent posts we will see naamavali groups having the common thread of 1. World - earth etc. 2. Sun moon stars 3. Negative thread but positive meaning etc.

I hope it is quite interesting to bhakthaas to study the sahasra naamam like this, as this gives an immediate understanding of the naamaas and impact of the naamaas are also more.
