brahmanas and the Vaisnavas
From the Bhakti List Archives

Dear Devotees of the Lord, If the status of a Vaisnava is transcendental, and even a brahmana must become a Vaisnava in order to approach the Lord - is it possible for a lower born Vaisnava who has gone through all the Vaisnava rites and initiations, and who follows Vaisnava dharma and has accepted Acarya, to worship Salagrama Sila form of the Lord? Is there any such exemples in Vaisnava History? Thanking you. Yours sincerely, damodar Srinivas Fine Arts Ltd.
