Dear BhakthAs : 

I am enclosing a note from Sriman V.N.VenakatanAthan ,
the Younger brother of Oppiliappan Koil Dr. V.N.VedAntha
Desikan .They are members of the Vangipuram NavanItham family 
known for their very important kaimkaryams to Sri VaishNava 
Community for many generations and are sishyAs of
HH ParavAkkOttai Andavan of PoundarIkapuram
Asramam.

This note is about the release of a new edition of
Swamy Desikan's magnum opus , "Srimath Rahasya Thraya 
Saaram " by Dr.V.N.VedAntha Desikan at the niyamanam of
his AchArya Saarvabhouman , HH Srimath PoundarIkapuram
ANDavan , ParavakkOttai Gopala Desika MahA Desikan .

Dr. V.N.VedAntha Desikan Swamy's contributions 
to Sri Vaishnava Community are well known and 
very much appreciated .His tireless kaimkaryams
to help us understand the significance of Ubhaya
VedAntha Granthams , Sri Sookthis of AchAryALs 
span over many years. His depth of traditional
scholarship, command of three languages ( Sanskrit,
Tamil and English ) and clarity of style to present
complex topics have been appreciated by every one
who has had access to his monographs and postings
in Sri VaishNavite Journals like Sri Nrusimha PriyA 
et al.His two volumes on Swamy NammAzhwAr's 
ThiruvAimozhi is a land mark contribution in
that it distills the essence of our PoorvAchAryA's
commentaries . His monograhs on Sri RanganAtha PaadhukA 
Sahasram , Sri VishNu Sahasra Naamam , Swamy Desikan's
SthOthra Granthams are treasures to gain 
a clear understanding of the essence of Parama
Vaidhika Sri VaishNava Darsanam . 

Please let me know of your interest in acquiring 
a copy of his recent release on Srimath Rahasya Thraya 
Saaram  described below or other monographs by him so
that we can try to get them to you at Chennai or
have it shipped to you at Singapore or Middle east 
or USA . 

Any funds raised form your support will be channeled
to the forthcoming 80th Birth day celebration of
HH Srimath PoundarIkapuram Aasramam at Srirangam 
and release of future Sri Sookthis of our great
PoorvAchAryAs . 

Sriman Murali Rangaswamy , a direct disciple of 
HH Poundarikapuram Andavan is serving as a 
central point of contact for the Aasramam 
at USA . Sri MadhavakkaNNan is serving a similar role at
Singapore . Sri V.N.VenakatanAthan , the younger
brother of Dr.V.N.VedAntha Desikan is the main 
coordinator in India for the organization of 
the forthcoming Special 80th birth day celebrations
of the revered AchAryan.

On that blessed Panguni RohiNi day ( March 30, 2001) ,
the eminent YathisvarALs from Sri Matam and ParakAla Matam
will be at Srirangam with their ancient AarAdhana
Moorthys ( Sri MalOlan and Sri HayagrIva BhagavAN
worshipped by Swamy Desikan and AchArya RaamAnujA ).
HH PeriyANDavan and HH Sri RangapriyA Swamy and
others are expected to participate in this important event.
 
To receive the blessings of all of the AchAryAs at one site 
will be parama bhAgyam and sarva Mangalakaram . Please 
plan on attending this 5 day Thirunakshathra Uthsavam
at Srirangam for the SathAbhishEkam of HH Sri
PoundarIkapuram Andavan and help raise funds
( Tax deductible ) for celebration of our 
ancient sampradhAyam nourished by our eminent
AchAryAs .

( SathAbhishEkam ) of this great AchAryA at Srirangam
