Dear Bhagavathas. 

Sriman Mani asked whether Hri and Lakshmi in Purusha Suktam 
refer to Bhu Devi and Sri Devi. Largely, Hri is translated as 
modesty , humility or humble. In a way, the common term 
in usage for that is  also DOWN TO EARTH. Who can be more
down to Earth than  Bhu Devi?
Thus, we can  interpret, Hri as Bhu Devi Taayaar.
