Mr. Kalale, Mani, Viji, and Mr. Srinivasan Srivilliputhur have all sent me personal E-mails in support of my participation in this forum. I am touched and honored by their messages to me, and as a result I am inspired to continue sharing my thoughts with all of you. This forum has become much more than just an electronic chat group for me; it has become a source of community and spiritual inspiration. I compliment each and every one of you in this group on your dedication and interest in our rich sampradayam. I am learning a great deal from all of you who are participating actively, and I would like to encourage others from not shying away from sharing thoughts, as well. One poignant thought came from one of the friends who had written to me. It suggested that US raised SriVaishnavas like myself and Mani are in an interesting position within the group, for in a sense, we remain outside of the bounds of kalai or mutham, and consequently, can look at all sides of an issue. Such unbiased approaches are clearly evident in the wonderful posting by Mani on Grace. My compliments to Mani on his lucid and clear descriptions that show the similarities in thinking between Pillai Lokacharyar and Swami Desikan as to the issue of Nirhetuka - Sahetuka Krpa. I am very much looking forward to the next posting. adiyEn SriVaishnava Daasan, Mohan
