I just now realized that Nrsimha chathurdasi is approaching soon.(Saturday?)
I used to remember a slokam called Nrsimhashtakam, which I
have almost forgotten. I think it was publicised by one famous kAlakshepakar.
(Thoopil or Mukkoor?)
The slokam starts like this.
srImad akalanka paripoorNa sashi kOti
sridhara manOhara shatA patala kAntha !
pAlaya kripAlaya bhavAmbudhi nimagnam
daitya vara kAla narasimha narasimha !!
and so on.
Does any one remember the full text of 8 + phalasthuthi?
Better still, can you post the meaning / translation?
Thanks
Raghu
