Dear Sri Ramesh:

There is an excellent book in English by 
Dr. S.Padmanabhan on the life and works of
ParAsara Bahttar ( His doctoral thesis at
Madras University) , which you can acquire 
from the VisishtAdvaitha Res. center 
at Mylapore. Dr.S.P is with the sanskrit
Dept at Madras University .That covers a 
lot of information that you are seeking.

Regarding Swamy AlavandhAr's life and Vaibhavam ,
a monograph entitled " Acharya Vaibhavam"
contains the needed information along 
with the Vaibhavam of other AchAryAs.
You can get it  from the above source.

The Ahobila Mutt thru the VisishtAdvaithA 
Res.center has released these and other monographs .

Further , the home pages on Swamy Desikan 
put together by Sri haresh Balasubramanyan and myself
has additional information on Swamy AlavandhAr.
Postings on His Sri Sookthis ( SthOthra Rathnam ,
ChathusslOki , GeethArtha sangraham ) have also been
posted earlier.You can get them with a google search.
