Dear BhakthAs:

Srimadh Azhagiya Singhar , the revered PeetAdhipathi 
of AhObila Matam is saluted as the MalOla PaddhukA
dhivya Sevakar or the One who performs AarAdhanam 
for the sacred Paadhukais of Sri Lakshmi Narasimhan .

During the occasion of the MahA samprOkshanam 
of Sri RanganAthA temple built at the command of 
the 44th Pattam HH Srimath MukkUr Azhagiya Singar ,
adiyEn wants to have a samarpaNam of a krithi 
eulogizing MalOla PaadhukAs. There are some plans
to recite Sri RanganAtha PaadhukA sahasram at 
the MahA SamprOkshaNam ceremonies . This krithi
is intended for this occasion to offer our 
salutations to the paadhukAs of MalOlan .

Charanam 1: Sakala DevArchitham mahaneeyam
            Nrusimha priyaa paathram Bhadram  (MaalOla --)

CharaNam 2: Visrungala PrasaraNeem Maanyam
            VaguaLa sumana parimalam adhbhutham ( MaalOla --)

Charanam 3: Nigama Brundhai: samsthutham nava mOhanam
            anagam Saasvatham parama pavithram (MaalOla--)

CharaNam 4: vibhUthyA vipulam Niravadhi Mahimnam
            KamalA BhUmyO: nithya lakshyam (MaalOla--)

Charanam 5: Sruthi sourabha saalinam kaaruNya sindhum
            chaaru-jaambhU-nadhAbham dhAmnaa Jwalantham(Maaloa--) 

(meaning ): adiyEn takes refuge at the divine PaadhukAs 
of MaalOlan of AhObilam . They are worshipped by great
Yogis adorning the throne of AhObila Matam for more
than six centuries. They bless one with all one wants 
in this and the other world. They are special and celebrated.
They are worshipped by all the DevAs and are lofty regarding
their Vaibhavam. They are the twin wives of the Lord and
help Him perform His dharmam of Saadhu Jana rakshaNam
and Dhushta Nigraham . They have the fragrance of Swamy
NammAzhwAr's VaguLa pushpa garland and have unrestricted 
sanchAram with their Lord in all the three worlds.They are
eulogized by the assembly of VedAs and are enchantingly 
beautiful during each moment of sanchAram . They are 
blemishless, eternal and very sacred.It is rich with
auspicous attributes and have indescribale Vaibhavam.
They are the targets of the KaruNA KatAksham of
MahA Lakshmi and BhUmi Piraatti always. They have 
the fragrance of the VedAs and the radiance of 
newly melted gold.

Some of the salutations of Swamy Desikan about
the Sri RanganAtha Ppadhukais have been woven into 
the text of the Krithi for auspiciousness
to those who set this krithi to Music with taaLam
and those who listen to this krithi offered with
humility at the sacred feet of MaalOlan .
