poigaiyAr and thirumazhisaip pirAn
From the Bhakti List Archives

Dear Sri MG Vasudevan, Thanks for pointing out the similarity of the two pasurams. To be frank, it didn't even occur to me that we are referring to a different AzhvAr. They seem almost the same. It seems as if thirumazhisaip pirAn, coming after poygaiyAr, offers this as a 'commentary' to the previous one. There are also some very interesting phrases that later AzhvArs pick up from their predecessors and ofcourse nam kaliyan is the most benefitted!! -Viji (Vijay Triplicane) -------------------------------------------------------------- - SrImate rAmAnujAya namaH - To Post a message, send it to: bhakti-list@yahoogroups.com Archives: http://ramanuja.org/sv/bhakti/archives/ Your use of Yahoo!
