According to Indian Standard Time, Wednesday, 17-May, is
Sri Vaishnava Narasimha Jayanti for all traditions --
saura (solar calendar), cAndra (lunar calendar), pAncarAtra,
mannAr (munitraya/parakAla maTha), tOzhappar (ahobila maTha).

SmArtas and mAdhvas reckon 16-May as Narasimha Jayanti.
However, according to Indian time, there is some trayodashi
on the 16th, thereby not making it a "pure" caturdashi.
Narasimha Jayanti is 'vaikAsi/vaiSAkha Sukla caturdashi'.
Sri Vaishnavas generally observe tithi-s on the following
day if they are not "pure". So, we observe it this year
on the 17th of May if in India.

In the U.S., it is best observed on 16-May, since we
have no trayodashi on that day according to our time.

pancAngam, printed in Mysore.
