Dear members, I have a simple query which some one learned amongst you may be able to clarify. (1) Who composed the Desikan "taniyan" "vAdidbhava-sirO-bhanga panchA~nana parakrama-ha I sriman venkata-natharya chiram vijayatAm bhuvi II" (2) What is the rough English translation of it? (3) Why is it that among SriVaishnava laity and orthodoxy, some sections like those belonging to the "munitreeya-sampradAyam" do NOT recite this "taniyan" ? Please enlighten. Thanks, adiyEn dAsAnu-dAsan, sudarshan ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
