%shloka ## mR^itaM bandhumaalokya shochatyapaarthaH kshaNaat.h so.api mR^ityoH pathaa saMprayaati | yato.aGYasya no yaati lobhaH prashaanti.n tato.asau punardehayogaM prayaati || 16|| ## %verse ## mare eka tyaachaa dujaa shoka vaahe . akasmaata tohii puDhe jaata aahe .. purenaa janii.n lobha re kshobha tyaate.n . mhaNonii janii.n maagutaa janma ghete .. \SCOUNT.. ## %meaning ##mare ## = dies; ##eka ## = one; ##tyaachaa ## = his; ##dujaa ## = someone else; ##shoka ## = grief; ##vaahe ## = carries. ##akasmaata ## = unexpectedly; ##tohii ## = he also; ##puDhe ## = thereafter; ##jaata ## = going; ##aahe ## = is. ##purenaa ## = unfulfilled; ##janii.n ## = among people; ##lobha ## = greed; ##re ## = alas! dear; ##kshobha ## = anger. ##mhaNonii ## = therefore; ##janii.n ## = among people; ##maaguta ## = again; ##janma ## = birth; ##ghete ## = takes. %versemeanings Death strikes one, but grief is shouldered by another!
